Biography

StéphaniePointier is associate director of the firm, and acts as investigator, mediator and arbitrator. She holds a Master's degree in European Law and a Master's degree in International Law from the University of Lille, France. During her studies, she spent a year on exchange at the Péter Pázmány Catholic University in Budapest, Hungary. She also taught European law as a lecturer in France, before spending two years in Brussels as a legal advisor in the litigation departments of international organizations, the International Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation (Eurocontrol) and the European Commission. She then spent a few months in Cameroon on a humanitarian mission, before settling in Canada to become a lawyer in private practice.

A member of the Quebec Bar since 2016,Ms. Pointier practiced for two years in the fields of civil and commercial litigation and employment law before joining the PRDSA team in early 2018. She now devotes her practice to dispute prevention and resolution.

At PRDSA,Ms. Pointier mediates, investigates and conducts neutral assessments of psychological harassment and problematic workplace situations for public and private organizations. She also acts as a trainer, notably to develop the skills of respondents, managers and employees in dealing with psychological harassment, incivility and conflict in the workplace.
