Jean Marois, LL.M., C. Med. A., is president of PRDSA. An arbitrator, investigator and mediator accredited by the Quebec Bar, the Institut de médiation et d'arbitrage du Québec (IMAQ), the Arbitration and Mediation Institute of Canada (ADRIC) and the International Mediation Institute (IMI), Mr. Marois practices mainly in the fields of employment, business and municipal affairs.

As part of his practice, he acts as mediator, neutral evaluator, investigator or facilitator in many fields, including organizational and relational conflicts, group conflicts and psychological harassment, within numerous provincial government departments and agencies, federal corporations, municipalities and private companies.

Mr. Marois is an associate professor at the Université de Sherbrooke's Faculty of Law. He was a lecturer in the graduate program in dispute prevention and resolution, where he taught the "Advanced Mediation" course for over 10 years. He also helped train hundreds of mediators in the civil and commercial mediation training program offered by this university in collaboration with the Institut de Médiation et d'Arbitrage du Québec (IMAQ). He has also worked to train over a hundred African mediators during missions led by PRDSA's international division.

On behalf of public and private organizations, Ms. Marois offers dozens of training sessions and conferences a year on respect, civility and the prevention of psychological harassment.

He is one of the co-authors of the Quebec Bar's Guide to Best Practices for Lawyers Investigating Complaints of Psychological Harassment and one of the first drafters of the Code of Ethics for Mediators of the Institut de médiation et d'arbitrage du Québec, of which he is a former president.

He previously held political positions in public and private administration, as mayor of a municipality and as chairman of several boards of directors, particularly in the field of regional economic development.
