Description

This awareness-raising workshop addresses the issues specific to relational conflicts in the workplace, and presents tools for dealing proactively with inappropriate conduct and collaboration difficulties. The Harassment Prevention Policy in force within your establishment can also be presented, in order to more specifically define the roles and responsibilities of each person, as well as the complaint handling mechanisms provided for therein. In addition, practical activities will help integrate the themes explored and encourage constructive discussions on best practices in prevention. As the issue of psychological harassment in the workplace raises questions that touch on both the fields of law and work psychology, we advocate an interdisciplinary training approach.

Objectives

1. Understand the concepts of psychological and sexual harassment, abuse of power and risk factors/protection of the work climate;
2. Distinguish between the notions of harassment, conflict and incivility, so as not to confuse them;
3. Understand the scope of the employer's preventive and defensive obligations within the organization;
4. Know the policy and procedure for handling complaints;
5. Identify the key skills required by the person in authority to effectively meet the employer's obligations;
6. Know how to apply good prevention practices.
