Senior Counsel
A retired lawyer since April 2020, Ms. Chabot has chosen to return to the practice of law and join the PRDSA team as legal counsel.
Ms. Chabot holds a bachelor's and master's degree in psychology from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières and a bachelor's degree in law from Université Laval. A member of the Quebec Bar since 1991, she first worked for the Quebec Department of Justice, then for Université Laval's Faculty of Law, first as Head of Practical Training, then as Director of Undergraduate Programs, until 2005. Over the years, she has honed her skills in the field of amicable dispute resolution. From 1997 to 2008, she also acted as a mediator in family, civil and commercial matters.
Starting in 2002, Ms. Chabot developed her expertise in investigating complaints of psychological harassment. To date, as a consultant, she has conducted close to four hundred investigations on the merits of psychological harassment complaints filed with employers. She has also conducted numerous admissibility studies. She regularly provides training in mediation and psychological harassment to lawyers and other interested professionals and managers.
The Bar awarded her the Mérite 2022 for her achievements in the field of amicable dispute resolution and for her contribution to the advancement of the field of workplace harassment investigations.
As a member of the PRDSA team, Ms. Chabot advises clients, supports the development of training programs and supervises the firm's investigators and mediators.
