Description

The "Managing Challenging Employees or Understanding and Demystifying Dysfunctional Behavior in the Workplace" training course is designed to help managers, supervisors and HR leaders better understand and manage disruptive or inappropriate behavior in the workplace. The main objective is to provide participants with practical tools and effective approaches to differentiate between so-called difficult personalities and dysfunctional behaviors, and to enable them to intervene appropriately according to the situations encountered.

Through this training, participants will learn to identify the different types of employees (troubled, difficult or pathological) and adopt the best management practices adapted to each case. The aim is to reinforce the role of managers in maintaining a harmonious and productive work environment.

In short, this course provides essential skills for preventing, managing and resolving conflicts linked to dysfunctional behavior within teams.

  1. Distinguishing between difficult personalities and dysfunctional behavior
  2. Definition of personality types and associated behaviors
  3. Definition of dysfunctional behaviors: actions or reactions that actively harm the work environment, productivity and employee well-being.
  4. Presentation of the incident analysis grid
  5. Presentation of best management practices for each case, addressing confidentiality issues
  6. Raising awareness of managerial pitfalls and posture issues in support measures
