Biography

 

A team manager, HéloïseChavy has been a lawyer-investigator, mediator and trainer with PRDSA for many years. She holds a master's degree in social law and labour relations from Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3 in France, and a bachelor's degree in law from Université de Montréal. Ms. Chavy is also a member of the Institut de médiation et d'arbitrage du Québec, and is accredited by the Quebec Bar as a lawyer-investigator in matters of psychological harassment in the workplace. She worked for five years as a paralegal in a Montreal firm, specializing in civil and aboriginal law, and two years in a boutique firm specializing in employment and labour relations law, before joining the PRDSA team in fall 2019.

As part of her duties,Ms. Chavy mediates, investigates and conducts neutral assessments of psychological harassment and other problematic situations in the workplace, on behalf of public and private organizations. She also acts as a trainer, notably to develop the skills of respondents, managers and employees in dealing with psychological harassment, incivility and conflict in the workplace.
